Terms of Use
Local file and clipboard transfer for your devices.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of BridgeSend (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms. Where Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, it is incorporated into these Terms. You can review it at Apple's Standard EULA.
2. What BridgeSend Does
BridgeSend creates a temporary transfer service on your local network. It allows you to use a browser on another nearby device to send or receive user-selected photos, videos, documents, other files, and clipboard text.
- No BridgeSend account or desktop application is required.
- Both devices normally need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi or local network.
- The App may display a local URL, QR code, session token, and temporary access code.
- Transfer history and smart history metadata may be stored locally on your device.
- Siri, Shortcuts, and App Intents may be used to open or control supported App actions.
Feature availability may depend on your device, operating system, network configuration, permissions, Apple services, and subscription status.
3. Local Network Use and Security
You are responsible for using BridgeSend only on networks and devices you trust. Anyone who can access the displayed local address and satisfy the enabled access controls may be able to view, upload, or download content made available during the session.
Network isolation, guest Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, private relay features, router settings, or enterprise policies may prevent devices from connecting. We do not guarantee compatibility with every network.
4. Your Content
You retain all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the photos, videos, files, text, and other content you select or transfer. BridgeSend does not claim ownership of your content and does not receive a perpetual license to use it.
You authorize the App only to process, copy, display, save, or transmit content as needed to perform the actions you request. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to transfer the content and that doing so does not violate law, privacy, confidentiality, copyright, or another person's rights.
You should keep independent backups. Deleting App data, stopping a session, removing a source item, changing Photos access, or uninstalling the App may make some items or history-based sharing unavailable.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use BridgeSend to:
- Access or transfer another person's device or content without authorization.
- Distribute malware, illegal material, infringing content, or content intended to harm others.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass the App's security or subscription controls, except where applicable law expressly permits.
- Use the App in a way that violates applicable law or interferes with a network, device, or service.
6. Smart History and Apple Intelligence Technologies
On supported systems and compatible devices, BridgeSend may use Apple's Foundation Models framework to generate localized titles, summaries, categories, or tags for transfer history. This analysis is intended to help organize your local history and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not rely on generated metadata for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.
When the model is unavailable, the App may use deterministic local rules. Availability depends on Apple's system requirements and settings.
7. Free Access and BridgeSend Pro
The free version currently provides one single-image transfer and one clipboard transfer of up to 100 characters. Videos, general file transfer, additional transfers, and sharing again from history may require BridgeSend Pro.
BridgeSend Pro may be offered through weekly, monthly, or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices and available offers are displayed by the App Store before purchase and may vary by storefront. Subscription details, renewal rules, cancellation, restoration, and refund information are described in the BridgeSend Pro Subscription Terms.
8. Availability, Changes, and Termination
We may maintain, improve, add, remove, or discontinue App features. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or address technical or security issues. These Terms do not guarantee that the App or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You may stop using the App at any time. Removing the App does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BridgeSend is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties to the extent they may lawfully be disclaimed. We are not responsible for transfer failures, incompatible networks, unauthorized access caused by sharing session information, loss of content, loss of profits, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, warranties, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
10. Minors
BridgeSend is not directed specifically to children. If you are not old enough to accept these Terms in your country or region, use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, law, security practices, or Apple platform requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
